Francesca Lusuardi

I have always been drawn to forms and objects that, through their abstractions, possess the capacity to fill us with wonder, evoke mystery, and ignite our imagination. My work reflects a curiosity for ancient civilizations, anthropology, and the ritualistic and devotional elements inherent in ancient objects, often drawing inspiration from natural abstract forms.

The use of clay in my work allows for an intuitive approach, with the hand-building process revealing unforeseen shapes. With patience and time, these forms gradually emerge, becoming more evident and defined.

A graduate in Design from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, I have engaged with artistic and sculptural ceramics over the years.
