Lucie Micheau Ceramics

Inspired and nourished by my collections of materials, I evolve in mineral universes in perpetual motion. I play with the discoveries revealed to me by my external environment when I mix the materials that will decorate my pieces.

These materials carry a narrative woven between all the places I visit, a tenuous link between their original environment and my peregrinations. Through the turn of a trip, a conversation, a geology book, this quest takes me towards research between chance and pursuit. I inscribe a story there that goes far beyond ceramics, an opening onto the past of rocks and their transformation.

I work with simple, refined forms, shaped in a dynamic and personal movement, in order to bring out the forms of living things. They are everyday objects, precious and intimate.
