{"title":"Marie Anglade","description":"\u003cp\u003eMy work lies in the search for drawings, materials, forms, and multiple experiments while seeking to get to the essential to provide an experience of living through the material. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTo convey my own sensations, the pleasure I had in modeling them, smoothing them, and giving them form. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Mediterranean, the sun, the moon, and my many travels are the primary inspirations, along with the dialogue between shadow and light. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMy sculpture work was also born from a new vision of materials, with the idea of taking construction materials and seeking to use them poetically, seeking to respect their materiality to give them a new way of living...\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis questioning has become central to my sculptural creative process. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhite returns, as always in my work, as a unit of time and space, a virginal space on which one can read all the little imperfections of the material—organic, rough, or smooth—that resonate between shadow and light. It is this imperfect and singular character that makes sense to my eyes and renders each piece unique and poetic. In my sculpture work, I love and play a great deal with this blurred boundary between art and design, object of contemplation and functional object. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis white is also found in my painting work, in which the body is always present, often fragmented or off-frame. In the triptych of the Soleil Collection, the body, taken in pieces, becomes the symbol of my feelings during the creative phase. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe physical body, here, lives through all of my works, sculptures and paintings; their weight and form seek to become palpable. Always with a narrative dimension. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHaving graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Lyon in 2006, and self-employed for 15 years, I love to experiment, test, and mix mediums. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eReturning to sculpture today brings me back to childhood with a new playground, a new \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eterritory to discover.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMy proposals are always project-based.
