Its openwork structure is composed of a tangle of sinuous and organic volumes, evoking both grape berries and vine shoots. These intertwined forms create a play of solids and voids that visually lightens the mass while providing an impression of movement and natural growth.

The glaze, in a deep, glossy red, immediately calls to mind the color of a red wine, catching the light and accentuating the surface reliefs. This shine gives the piece an almost liquid dimension, as if the material were in the process of transforming or flowing, reinforcing the link to the world of wine.

The upper part is topped with a stylized leaf motif, delicately veined, which completes the botanical reference. It acts as a crowning element, suggesting the origin of the cluster and its direct connection to the vine.

Overall, the sculpture oscillates between figuration and abstraction: it does not literally represent a bunch of grapes, but captures its essence, energy, and symbolism. It evokes both the generosity of the fruit, the complexity of living things, and the sensory richness associated with wine.

"Botrus Groseille" is a unique piece entirely hand-modeled.
Original work signed by the artist and delivered with its certificate of authenticity.

Dimensions: 37 x 28 x 22 cm
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0628/0567/2141/files/objet-de-decoration-botrus-groseille-stephane-desmaris-1.jpg?v=1790783861
