"Crystal" shaped earring to evoke the brilliance and light reflection found on rock crystals.
Straw marquetry is a very time-consuming and luxurious technique that consists of applying dyed rye straw to various supports. I carefully select each strand, open them, flatten them, and apply them one by one to different supports (furniture, decorative objects, paintings...).
Dimensions: Total height 5.6cm / width 2cm / thickness 3mm
The straw is grown, cut, and dyed in France, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Small-batch piece handmade in my small workshop in the Hauts-de-France.
Materials: Plywood support covered with rye straw, white vinyl glue, 925 silver findings (contains no lead, cadmium, or nickel)
Earrings delivered in their jewelry box.
Please note, color shades may vary slightly depending on your screen calibration.
Shipped via Colissimo with insurance and interior protection.
Care: Straw marks easily from impacts and scratches. Wipe delicately with a simple soft cloth to remove dust. It is possible to dampen the cloth very slightly (do not wet) to remove more persistent dirt. For the silver findings, wipe away any signs of oxidation using a microfiber cloth.
