Straw marquetry is a very time-consuming and luxurious technique that involves applying dyed rye straw onto various surfaces. I carefully select each strand, open them, flatten them, and apply them one by one onto various supports (furniture, decorative objects, paintings...).
Dimensions: Total height 5.8cm / width 1.7cm / Thickness 3mm
The straw is grown, cut, and dyed in France, in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region. Small-batch piece handmade in my small workshop in the Hauts-de-France region.
Materials: Plywood base covered with rye straw, white vinyl glue, 925 Sterling Silver findings (does not contain lead, cadmium, or nickel)
Earrings delivered in their case.
Please note, color shades may vary slightly depending on your screen calibration.
Shipped via La Poste Colissimo with insurance and internal padding.
Care: Straw is easily marked by bumps and scratches. Gently wipe with a simple soft cloth to remove dust. You may dampen the cloth very slightly (do not soak) to remove more stubborn dirt. For the silver findings, wipe away any signs of oxidation using a microfiber cloth.

Triangular earrings featuring a straw marquetry fan pattern in Yellow with an Anthracite Grey border on the front and edge of the jewelry. 925 Sterling Silver hooks.
