Description
Solid wood table - French craftsmanship
Inspired by an ancient architectural detail, our French cherry wood dining table pays tribute to the ingenuity of builders of the past. Handcrafted from local cherry wood sourced from sustainably managed forests, it highlights the natural warmth and subtle pinkish hues of this noble wood.
Its solid legs are inspired by the "squinch," a transition element between a wall and a dome, reinterpreted here with soft, organic lines to offer a sculptural base that is both sturdy and fluid. The tabletop, with its generous curves and harmonious oval shape, invites sharing and creates a warm dialogue with its surroundings.
This table comfortably seats six to eight people, making it the ideal centerpiece for your daily meals or special occasions. Each finish is applied with a hard wax-based Rubio Monocoat treatment, which protects the wood while allowing its natural texture to shine through. This treatment is matte, durable, food-safe, and preserves the beauty of the wood against the rigors of daily life.
