Handmade notebook - French craftsmanship
Monochromes Series
This series highlights work with relief and textures. To perfect the monochrome look, the edges of the notebooks are tinted the same color as the cover.
I mainly use scraps of buckram cloth from the workshop assembled together, sometimes adding scraps of classic fabric or decorated paper.
This has two advantages: ecological, through the upcycling of elements that would otherwise be thrown away, and aesthetic, as it involves a different creation for every copy!
120 pages, 120g paper for writing or drawing.
Very resistant buckram cloth, washable with a damp sponge.

This series is part of what are generally known as blank books: the pages are blank and can be used as you wish as a notebook, journal, guestbook...
On them can be placed comments from visitors or friends, your travel notes or deep thoughts, your graphic expressions of all kinds.
These pages are hand-sewn, and their cover created entirely in the studio using techniques that are more or less ancient, or invented.
These are unique pieces and very small series, so there is generally only one model truly identical in each color or variation. It is however possible to recreate models on order or to adapt them to your needs.
