Monochromes Series
This series highlights work with relief and texture. To perfect the monochrome look, the edges of the notebooks are tinted the same color as the cover.
I mainly use scraps of buckram fabric from the workshop assembled together, sometimes adding scraps of standard fabric or decorative paper.
This has two advantages: ecological, by upcycling elements that would otherwise end up in the trash, and aesthetic, as it results in a different creation for each copy!
120 pages, 120g paper for writing or drawing.
Very durable buckram fabric, washable with a damp sponge.
Dimensions: 21x15 cm
On this model, there is a slight flaw in the placement of the stitching at the joint, visible in the 3rd photo. The price takes this into account.
This series is part of what are generally called blank books: the pages are blank and can be used as you wish as a notebook, journal, guestbook...
You can use them for comments from visitors or friends, your travel notes or deep thoughts, or graphic expressions of all kinds.
These pages are hand-stitched, and their covers are created entirely in the workshop using techniques that are more or less traditional, or invented.
These are unique pieces and very small series, so there is generally only one truly identical model of each color or variation. However, it is possible to make models to order or adapt them to your needs.
